The Fifth Annual Lincoln Wine Fest was a huge success !! Placer County wineries are outstanding. In 2016, Placer County wineries earned 45 medals at the San Francisco Chronicle wine awards.
There was a lot of variety in the finger food and the unique shops were fun to visit. Most popular comment--- "I had no idea all these lovely shops were here !!"
Jeff Evans of Bear River Winery says, "Love this event. Lincoln Wine Fest is the best organized of all the festivals. Bear River Winery is committed to coming. You guys rock !!"
Lincoln Wine Fest - 2017
Tickets may be purchased in advance online for $35 or $20 for Active Military with ID (see above). They may also be purchased at Registration for $40 (or $20 for Active Military with ID) as long as there is not a sell-out. Must be 21 to purchase tickets but children may accompany adults. Designated Driver tickets will be available at Registration for $15 and include bottled water and food.
There will be a free shuttle bus from Sun City Lincoln Hills Orchard Creek Lodge parking lot starting at 12:30pm with last return at 5:00pm.
Remember, a portion of the proceeds go back to our Community through Rotary projects and the Downtown Lincoln Association.
On Saturday, April 29th from 1PM to 5PM, Rotary Club of Lincoln, in collaboration with the Downtown Lincoln Association, wil present the 6th Annual Lincoln Wine Fest. We will have 17 Placer County wineries that will offer tastings in downtown Lincoln retail locations paired with yummy food from Lincoln restaurants and other food providers. You can finish off at Beermann's Plaza with live music, craft and specialty vendors, prizes and the opportunity to buy wine by the bottle that you have enjoyed tasting.
